The villa comes fully staffed, including a cook who prepares breakfast (included in your stay) and lunch upon request from a great menu designed to satisfy guests of all ages.

Families will enjoy Villa Bengawan, and it’s certainly spacious enough for a gaggle of kids – there’s a large pool, a shallow paddling pool, an outdoor gym (including pull-up bar), a table-tennis table and an air-conditioned TV Room for catching up on cartoons or favourite movies.

Villa Bengawan’s pair of living and dining pavilions couldn’t be better placed. Open to garden lawns beyond tranquil ponds, these minimally furnished pavilions allow for a seamless flow between interior and exterior spaces. To the right is a dining pavilion with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen to the rear, whilst to the left is a lounging pavilion furnished with oversized sofas that couch you in comfort the moment you sink in.

With the five ensuite bedrooms all located well away from the living areas, and even further from the smartly decked pool, quiet naps are achievable at any time of the day.

Villa Bengawan is located in the middle of Pererenan, within easy walking distance of Bali’s newest upmarket cafes (Touche, Cumulus, Machinery, Hulu, Acme, Almond), high-end restaurants (Shelter, Rize, Mostly, Brunch Club, Red Gunpowder, Woods, Pescado) and bars (Shady Fox, Peel Records, Bar Vera).

There are new yoga studios (Canggu Yoga Centre, The Path), a spa (Esthetic), a pilates studio (The Pilates Project) and a new upmarket gym with spa (Wrong Gym).

Within a short car or bike ride, there is Bali’s most famous padel centre (Jungle Padel), gyms (Obsidian, Elite Fit) and a spinning studio (Heartbeat Bali).

For diversion and mind-blowing sunsets, Pererenan Beach and Echo Beach are only a 15 minute stroll or 5 minute bike ride away on a new, traffic-free road.
